Cold Spring School seeks to develop in children a love of language, literature, and writing in the broadest sense. The foundation for writing fiction begins with exposure to current and classic literature, which occurs across all grade levels. Students learn through reading and analyzing stories in literature circle the elements that make a story interesting and well written. Children are encouraged to write imaginatively and prolifically on a broadly defined topic that interests them.
