| I walked into the museum and BOOM!!!, a gigantic room opend up in front of me. There were tables all over the place with colonial coins and little write-ups about Connecticut's history. But the thing that caught my eye and many other kids, was portraits all along the walls of the past governers and King Charles II. Man, King Charles II was really and I mean really dressed up. He was wearing about three items that looked like dresses! The biggest thing I got out of it is that now I have a picture that comes up in my head when his name is mentioned. |

| When we were at the technology conference at the Capitol Building, groups of us went across the street to a museum about Connecticut's history. We saw lots of interesting stuff like a very old voting booth, lots of portraits, coins, guns, a sewing machine, and a few thimbles. Some of the coins were very small, I mean smaller than dimes. In the first room you walk into, there are tons of portraits covering the walls. You have to be very quiet in this museum. Even make sure your keys don't make noise or you might set off an alarm! |
