The Legend of the Guilford Caves
Once there was a farmer who woke up and saw that he was missing two of his chickens. Right then he turned his head and saw two Indians running across his field. He immediately assumed that they took his chickens. So he got a group of settlers together with their guns. Well, the Indians saw them and went into the caves. The settlers waited outside.

When the colonists were living in what is now Guilford, they weren't getting along with the Native Americans. So one day when a colonist man woke up and saw two of his chickens missing and just happened to see two Native Americans running by, he accused the Indians of stealing the chickens. Then he called some other men from the village and they chased the Indians all the way to the caves. When they got to the caves, the Indians went inside but the colonists didn't follow. They waited at the mouth of the cave for the Indians to come out. But while the colonists were waiting, the Indians had found another way out.

My Experience in the Caves:
I was looking back and stretching a hand out. On the last climb I could not climb with my flashlight so I gave Todd my flashlight and now I was asking for it back. By accident he gave me Vanessa's flashlight. I could not reach mine so I took hers. I went into the tunnel when I was in about the middle, I pressed the button of the flashlight and it went out. I did not know how to turn it back on so I was in pitch black. I tried to keep my head's concentration. Luckily I made it to the other end and there I learned to turn it on.
