Tide Pools
Tide pools are small pools of seawater
containing many varieties of life. Tidal pools are formed when
the tide comes in and fills up shallow basins in the rock or sand,
filling it with seawater and many types of sea creatures. When
the tide goes out, water is left in the pools. Some of the things
that live in tidal pools are: crabs, mudsnails, small fish such
as minnows, many different kinds of seaweed, shellfish, and many
other things!
